My first S.M.A.R.T goal: Finish planning, story boarding, and write a perfect paralogue for "Honey Honey" (original story with a working title) by the January Deadline! S: Specific. I know what I need to do, and how I need to do it. I need to finish story boarding and writing a first chapter for "Honey Honey (working title). Make sure that not only that it's good enough to draw readers in BUT also uses intelligent word choices and is descriptive enough to have a decent length to it. The story itself has to be solidified, and I need to put certain event's in order, to make an interesting story-telling method out of the simplicity of the Original story. M: Measurable. I'll be able to track my progress. I can easily track my progress on this goal by constantly updating my blog. The progress I make will be tracked, and i'll be making definite progress with my story. A: Attainable. If I work hard enough, I can achieve this. I usually have a difficult time reaching my goals or finishing projects. But because this is now interfering with school, i'm going to make sure that I accomplish my goals. R: Reasonable. This isn't anything impossible. The goal that I have chosen to try and achieve is incredibly realistic, it isn't necessarily "too easy" because this will be challenging for me. This is something that if I work hard enough, will be able to be accomplished. T: Timely. My time frame is reasonable, and gives me enough time to achieve my goal. For our time frame, for both our Academy and Personal goals, we have and end-of-January time frame. I think that this is a very good timeframe for both my Book Goal and my Drum Goal. I find it very improbable to not have my goals finished by the deadline.
